Terrible News

So sorry to be the bearer of bad news but look at this:

Sam's dad was found hanged in his flat in Brighton. He committed suicide after suffering from depression.

I feel like crying myself when I see this.

I cried when i was this - poor Sam
My thoughts are with Samantha and her family at this terrible time - i hope the press give her the privacy she needs. What a heartbreaking way to lose someone.

This is such an upsetting time for Sam I hope in the long run she will eventually be ok. What a shame

I'm actually lost for words here.

omg thats so sad
that exact thing happened to my friend/neighbour
her dad died coz he hanged himself
and he suffered from depression
i had to help her through it
and it was so sad

Totally agree, how disgusting of them. That photo makes me want to cry every time i see it.

She just looks distraught. It's so upsetting

They also seem to suggest that she caused his depression because of the stuff at the wedding Don't they have any respect? They don't know the facts! They don't even know for certain if he did hang himself!

so the papers should stick to facts
& Leave Sam alone

I completly agree with you. How dare they turn all this on Sam. They may not have had the best of father/daughter relationships but that doesn't give them the right to practically blame her for his death !! It is discusting if you ask me !!

Maybe they should just stick to their daily dose of Jordan!

And the fact that they haven't had a great relationship is down to him, not her!

Someone on the digital spy forum has suggested that The Sun is probably trying to bring the whole Archie-Ronnie storyline into real life, the 'reasoning' for them trying to blame Sam and I think they may be right. B*stards.

I think what the Sun have said is actually ridiculous. As you all said, they're trying to make the Ronnie/Archie storyline become a reality, which is horrible, especially at a hard time like this for Sam.

When my friends Dad killed himself, she blamed herself whilst everyone else blamed him. Hopefully Sam can come to peace with what's happened and won't feel anger towards herself; it was a fair decision not to include him in the OK! wedding photos as he wasn't around for her when she was younger.
She obviously didn't have a very happy childhood but I hope that she'll be able to move on with her life.

Yeah, very well not having her father.. But what about her mother? I don't get why she wasn't in there with them.. She's an actress called Diana O'Hanlan or something and I couldn't find her when I googled her, even under the name Janus
